Hello again!
I seriously had the worst day ever! So I made this new friend. She moved down to the Coast from the middle of nowhere and she knew no one here. Her mom introduced her to me and we became friends. I thought that since I am leaving in a month, I should introduce her to everyone I know so that she could have friends when I’m no longer here; it’s the right thing to do right? We went to the movies together, the beach and even saved a frog’s life at the pool. We talked about silly stuff and even checked out the guys, well some of them! I was there for here when her boyfriend broke up with her even though I only knew her for about a month at that point.
Then the worst happened……..She met this guy and pushed me aside! My heart was shattered. I have a very tiny heart but hat is no reason to break it. How can a friend push you away for a guy that she knows for 4 Days? Maybe I’m just being silly but it sure hurts….I don’t want to be good enough only when she feels like it. Guys come and go but friends are forever, I guess I still have much to learn about life.
I used to think that having friendship is the comfort from knowing that even when you feel alone, you aren’t but does everyone else?**

My first blog!
Hey everyone!
I am sooooo exited! I actually do not know what to write although I always have something to say about everything! Lets start with school, I wrote my second last paper today and will be finishing on Monday Yay! My agency let me know that I will be seeing the American Embassy next week to do my visa, I am beyond nervous. I have no idea what to expect so I hope they like me, even if it is a little hehehe! I will be leaving on the 10 January 2010 from Durban to Johannesburg, where I will board the next fight to Germany. After about 8 hours in Germany we fly to New York for 3 days orientation at the Sheraton Hotel. I can't wait to go on the tour of New York and the shopping! Maybe I will get to meet some fancy Hollywood actor at a coffee shop? yeah, wishfull thinking ne! After all that exitement I get to meet my host family in Mooresville, North Carolina...... What to expect? I do not know**
